Patricia Folgar grew up in Los Angeles, balancing scraped knees from climbing trees with an unwavering dedication to her 64-pack of Crayons (complete with a sharpener, of course). From coloring books to color palettes, her creative streak was clear, even if she didn’t see it herself at first.
Fast forward to senior year at Glendale Academy, where a nudge from her art teacher got her laughing—she couldn’t imagine pursuing art as a career. But fate has a sense of humor. A mix-up landed her in a graphic design class at Pasadena City College, and she stayed. That happy accident led her to ArtCenter College of Design, where she earned her BFA and kickstarted her journey in creative direction.
Patricia's career includes working with The Disney Store, Huerta Design, and freelancing with B.D. Fox & Associates before joining Artisan Entertainment (now Lionsgate). From indie cult classics like The Blair Witch Project to acclaimed titles like Requiem for a Dream, she created impactful campaigns and was known as the go-to creative problem solver.
Moving to NBC, Comcast (E!, Style Network, G4), she worked on hit shows like The Bionic Woman, 30 Rock, and Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Her leadership skills shone when she built the Style Network's creative department from scratch, managing a team and directing campaigns across the country, where she was art directing photo and video shoots.
At Hallmark Media, she continued leading B2C and B2B campaigns, collaborating with department heads to deliver fresh, innovative ideas. Today, Patricia brings her expertise to clients, new and returning, strategizing campaigns and projects and still rolling up her sleeves to deliver top-notch design across all media platforms.
Now settled in the San Fernando Valley, Patricia shares her home with rescue dogs, her other passion. When she’s not on a creative streak, you’ll find her hiking with her pups, always thinking up her next big idea. Creativity, like her love for dogs, never takes a break!
